QSR Magazine: BIBIBOP Asian Grill to Acquire ShopHouse Locations

BIBIBOP Asian Grill is about to double in size.

The owner of the fast-casual restaurant chain announced its plans to purchase locations formerly operated by ShopHouse. According to QSR Magazine, the expansions will double the number of BIBIBOP Asian Grill restaurants and the locations are expected to open in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago in the upcoming months.

ShopHouse was an American restaurant chained owned by Chipotle that specialized in Southeast Asian Cuisine. All locations were closed on March 17.

“The BIBIBOP Asian Grill concept has performed very well with consumers, as demonstrated by our steady growth through the years, and we’re excited to bring our fresh dining experience to more guests across the country,” said Charley Shin, CEO of BIBIBOP Asian Grill.
