When going through particularly challenging times, like losing a loved one or moving our family into a new home, people typically spend so much time focusing on all the little details and logistics rather than what they’re actually going through. Between selling items they no longer want, moving all of their things, and then having to clean out the space they’re leaving behind, it makes for an incredibly overwhelming experience.

Robert Esposito founded Relocators, a full-service moving company, in 2008 because he saw an opportunity to ease the frustrations and stress that comes along with transitional phases. After working with his mother’s estate sale company, Sisters in Charge, he saw even more areas in which people needed assistance. Esposito tried to seek out full-service transition and moving companies and was shocked by how little was out there.

With the intent to help those going through some of the most intricate and emotionally taxing moments of their lives in a meaningful way, Esposito created a four-part system, which caters to those in a variety of situations. Relocators offers help with estate and tag sales, storage, full-service moving and cleanouts.

Esposito’s mother, Denise, founded Sisters in Charge, which is now a partner of Relocators, when she was tasked with emptying her mother’s home. She found so little options for assistance when downsizing sick and elderly family members that she knew she wanted to help others who were going through similar situations. Since its inception in the early 2000s, Sisters in Charge has garnered a loyal following, ensuring that all estate sales are successful.

“All the items that people don’t want to get rid of but have no room to keep? Without Relocators, that’s just one more piece of the puzzle to figure out,” Esposito said. “Fortunately, Relocators owns private storage facilities to keep valuables safe and, most importantly, not causing extra hassle. We also pick up a customer’s items and transport them to the storage facility so they don’t have to.”

Aside from packing, moving and unpacking items when moving to a new home, Relocators also offers a sustainable cleanout service. When moving, it’s tempting to immediately throw away everything that’s unwanted. The Relocators team makes it a point to donate items which could be used by others, and then brings a dump truck to throw away and recycle the rest. Customers can also choose to allocate any of the money made during the estate sale to help offset cleanout costs.

“By the time Relocators has come and gone, your prior home is empty, clean and move-in ready. Not only did you not end up having to do all the work yourself, but you were also able to work with one company for a seamless transition,” Espositio said. “Choosing Relocators gives customers the space to process what they’re going through, while providing across-the-board support with our friendly and reliable staff. Why waste time dealing with every little detail when there’s a company who’s willing, and happy, to do it for you?”
