Robert Cresanti Named to Nation’s Restaurant News’ 2017 Power List

The International Franchise Association’s president and CEO is advocating on behalf of the industry.

It’s no secret that the International Franchise Association plays an active role in the restaurant industry. And now, president and CEO Robert Cresanti has been named to Nation’s Restaurant News’ list of the most powerful individuals in foodservice.

The Power List 2017 highlights industry influencers who represent the next generation of chefs and restaurants as well as defenders and advocates. Cresanti’s track record in his first 16 months at the head of the IFA proves that he’s one of the industry’s top advocates—together with the IFA, he's lobbied against state minimum wage increases and the National Labor Relations Board’s joint employer ruling. And he's not giving up that fight in the new year—in fact, Cresanti is hopeful that the industry will gain traction with a pro-business administration.
