Business Insider: BurgerFi Fires Up the Grill for Chicken

BurgerFi, one of the nation’s fastest growing fast casual brands, is rolling out a new menu item — a grilled chicken sandwich. As Business Insider notes, this is the first time BurgerFi has ever introduced grilled chicken to its menu. But even though this product offering is new, the brand is making a major debut with its Chicken Avocado BLT.

The grilled chicken sandwich features an all-natural, free-range chicken breast that’s then stacked with fried avocado, white cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard barbecue sauce. One dollar from each sandwich sold will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help end childhood cancer.

Paul Griffin, BurgerFi’s executive chef, said, “We’ve been testing variations of the chicken sandwich for almost a year to ensure our guests have a craveable culinary experience. We always try to infuse our own innovative twist to the standard on anything we do. The fried avocado adds a unique crunch factor — you definitely don’t see that everywhere!”

The Chicken Avocado BLT will be available at BurgerFi’s 105-plus locations for a limited time, with the possibility of becoming a permanent menu item.
