CraftWorks Acquires Logan’s Roadhouse

Multibrand operator CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries has added to its collection with the acquisition of 204-unit Logan’s Roadhouse, the company announced. The move establishes a new restaurant holding company in CraftWorks Holdings, a 390-unit enterprise with a presence in 40 states.

Nation’s Restaurant News noted the enterprise includes Logan’s Roadhouse’s 204 corporate and franchise restaurants and 189 corporate and franchise restaurants under the CraftWorks umbrella including such brands as Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, Rock Bottom Restaurants & Breweries, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants and Big River Grille & Brewing Works.

Logan’s Roadhouse CEO Hazem Ouf will lead the combined company. Restaurant Business noted Ouf has served in the executive role with Logan’s since early 2017, soon after the brand emerged from bankruptcy protection.
