New Hampshire Union Leader: Dairy Queen® Continues to Grow in New Hampshire
The brand is on pace to open two new locations in the state.
It has been about one year since franchisee Dave Dion converted his Manchester Dairy Queen® location into the brand's DQ Grill & Chill® model.
The remodel has been extremely well received by the community, bringing a large sales jump with longtime fans excited about the fresh look and many new locals wanting to give it a try.
“We are more than thrilled,” by the sales jump, Dion told the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The state of New Hampshire as a whole is set to see additional growth from Dairy Queen in the coming years, as it is a development focus for the brand and Dion himself is looking to open a new location.
International Dairy Queen, Inc. vice president of franchise sales and development Mike Mettler confirmed this and added that the brand has room for two locations in New Hampshire.
“That’s the pace we’re on right now,” Mettler told the New Hampshire Union Leader.
