No matter what your situation is in life, moving always has the potential to create unnecessary stress. Whether you’re upgrading to a new home with your family or helping your parents downsize as they age or even suffer the loss of a loved one, there’s a long list of things to consider before a move can actually take place.

Robert Esposito, the founder and president of Relocators, learned about that stress first-hand. After his grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, his family had to empty out her long-time home in Queens, New York. While Esposito was only 15 at the time, his mother, Denise, quickly realized that there weren’t any quality options for families in need of help throughout the downsizing process in the area. So she started her own company, Sisters in Charge.

Esposito quickly became involved with the brand, and was able to learn the ins and outs of running a successful business. But the more he learned about the estate sale and clean-out industries, the more he realized that there was still a glaring gap between brands and consumers. Instead of connecting all moving services under one umbrella, brands were fragmented in their own individual segments. Recognizing that there was a need for a comprehensive solution, Esposito decided to launch Relocators.

“My goal from day one has been to eliminate unnecessary stress in people’s lives. Moving is already hard enough—you shouldn’t have to jump through multiple hoops to ensure that the process goes smoothly,” said Esposito. “After seeing my mom make a real difference in people’s lives through Sisters in Charge, I realized that I had the opportunity to build something just as special. Today, nine years after launching Relocators, it’s clear that demand for our services is only growing.”

Relocators offers incredibly diverse services. From moving and clean-outs to estate sales and storage, the brand covers all aspects related to the moving industry. And the brand is eager to take on every type of project—from homes that have been collecting items for years to brand new spaces that are still under construction, Relocators tackles every type of move or clean-out head-on while providing exceptional customer service.

“One day we’ll be moving the most prized possessions in your home, and the next we’ll be cleaning out the attic or basement that you haven’t seen in 30 years. We offer a full range of services—Relocators is the type of brand that offers something for everybody,” said Esposito. “Everything that clients need to be done throughout the entire moving process can be handled with one call and one company. That’s what makes Relocators so unique within its industry. We eliminate extra steps and stress in order to simplify the experience.”

That commitment to diversifying its core services offers a wide range of benefits for aspiring business owners and prospective franchisees—Relocators taps into different segments that ultimately provide them with multiple revenue streams. It also has the potential to help owners tap into consumers that they otherwise wouldn’t reach, automatically extending their reach as entrepreneurs and potentially boosting their bottom lines.

Beyond its services, Relocators also reflects diversity in its corporate team. Not only was the company inspired through Esposito’s personal and professional experiences with his mother and Sisters in Charge—which is now a part of the Relocators system—the brand is also made up of people from a wide variety of different backgrounds that cover different ages, ethnicities and genders. And as Relocators expands its reach through franchising, the brand plans to continue that tradition.

“We pride ourselves on being a diverse team that provides multiple services to a wide variety of clients. At the end of the day, that diversity enhances our system and sets us up for continued success,” said Esposito. “As we get our franchise opportunity off the ground and welcome new owners into our system, we’re looking forward to bringing this unique concept to new communities.”
