The Roanoke Times: Checkers & Rally's Plans to Expand Presence in Virginia
With a new design and build-out option allowing for faster development, the QSR concept eyes Roanoke for a new location
Checkers* & Rally's has plans to increase its presence in Virginia, with a specific focus on the Roanoke area for growth.
According to The Roanoke Times, the brand has room for eight area restaurants in coming years. Checkers & Rally's Director of Franchise Development, John Palumbo told The Roanoke Times that the brand hopes for one of these sites to be selected in 2017.
Checkers & Rally's also recently introduced a new design that includes a build-out option based around environmentally friendly former shipping containers. If used in Virginia, the model would speed up the statewide development timeline as it significantly streamlines construction.
