QSR Magazine: Starbucks Opening a Reserve Roastery in Chicago in 2019

Starbucks announced on Wednesday its plans to open a Reserve Roastery in Chicago. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, the Roastery will be located on North Michigan Avenue and Erie Street on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and will open in 2019. This will be the third Roastery location in the U.S., following a Seattle and New York City location.

“To be located on one of the best-known retail streets in the world is a proud moment for all of us and we can’t wait to bring Chicago and the world a coffee experience worthy of their most premier real estate,” said Starbucks executive chairman, Howard Schultz.

The Roastery is designed to be an experience like no other. Four stories and a 43,000-square-foot space will bring the coffee craft to life with multiple brewing methods, specialty Reserve beverages and mixology.
