For nearly two decades, Zoup! has been filling a once glaring gap in the fast casual industry.

After founder and CEO Eric Ersher realized that soup, really good soup, was hard to find, he decided to create a concept that brings top quality recipes to consumers craving something both delicious and nutritious. Backed by hundreds of award-winning soups that bring customers intangible feelings of comfort, warmth and well-being, Zoup! has become a go-to spot for co-workers, friends and families across the country. But as demand in the industry continues to climb, consumers aren’t the only ones catching on to Zoup!’s one of a kind concept. The franchising industry is also taking note.

Zoup! has earned a coveted spot on Franchise Business Review’s list of the top 200 franchises for 2017. That means that Zoup!’s franchisees are incredibly satisfied with the brand’s opportunity—the list was compiled after Franchise Business Review surveyed approximately 30,000 franchise owners representing over 300 brands. Those that made the cut—including Zoup!—scored the highest in overall franchisee satisfaction.

“We’re incredibly excited and honored to be included again on Franchise Business Review’s list of the top 200 franchises. We’re in great company among other larger fast casual players in our segment, proving that we’re competing with the best of the best,” said Ersher. “This ranking shows that Zoup! has incredible momentum and growth potential in 2017 and we’re looking forward to helping more franchisees achieve the dreams of business ownership.”

Unlike other top franchise lists or rankings that highlight a brand’s performance and size, Franchise Business Review’s report reveals which franchisees are happy with their brands after opening their doors for business. That means that Zoup!’s existing franchisees ranked the company high in key categories like financial opportunity, training and support, leadership, operations and product development and core values.

That level of satisfaction with the Zoup! brand isn’t new—Zoup!’s franchisees are consistently reporting how rewarding it is to be a part of the brand’s system.

“We were incredibly pleased with the support from Zoup!’s corporate team. They were with us every step of the way—from finding the perfect real estate and analyzing the community’s demographics to assessing the nearby competition and building a local marketing plan,” said Steve Crnokrak, Zoup!’s franchisee in Northwest Indiana.

Franchise Business Review isn’t the only industry publication recognizing Zoup!’s strong potential for growth in 2017. The brand’s franchise opportunity also earned the fourth spot on Franchise Gator’s Top 100 Franchises of 2017 list. Not only does this ranking signal that Zoup! is leading the way in the fast casual segment, it also highlights the fact that the brand boasts a concept that’s increasingly in demand.

That climbing demand is set to help Zoup! continue expanding in a variety of different communities now that the brand has passed the milestone 100-unit mark. And with an affordable initial investment that ranges from $386,860 to $576,250, Zoup!’s franchise opportunity is accessible to aspiring entrepreneurs who are looking to go into business for themselves with the support of an established brand.

“We’re confident that 2017 is going to be another successful year for the Zoup! brand. By working with franchisees who share our passion for the concept and for creating an outstanding experience for customers, we’re setting our system up for continued success,” said Ersher. “We’re looking forward to welcoming new local owners into our system as we set our sights on breaking into new communities across the country.”
