Fast Casual: California Tortilla Seeks Franchisees in North Carolina

California Tortilla* is opening in North Carolina and is hoping to grow in the area quickly. According to a recent Fast Casual article, the brand’s first unit will open in 2018 in Raleigh and it is expecting to open 10 units over the next five years with qualified franchise partners.

"North Carolina has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, and we're excited to begin development across the state. With an affordable cost of living, strong retail opportunities and a growing population, North Carolina's major metropolitan markets are extremely appealing to us," says Jim Tisack, VP of franchise development at California Tortilla.

This year, Raleigh was named one of the top cities for millennials and North Carolina’s population saw its highest year-over-year growth since 2010. This provides a great area for the 50-unit California Tortilla to expand to with its made-to-order burritos, bowls and street tacos, quesadillas and salads.
