Everything is bigger in Texas, and Dallas-based MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes* has big plans in mind for its home state heading into 2018. The better burger franchise concept carries momentum into the new year after opening its newest location in the state at the close of 2017. The restaurant, which opened on December 18 in Prosper, brought the company’s number of Texas locations to 32.

“We take great pride in serving our fellow Texans and are proud of the warm reception we’ve received in the few weeks since opening in Prosper,” said Michael Mabry, president and chief operating officer of MOOYAH. “As we strive to be the very best option for families and burger enthusiasts, there is ample opportunity across Texas for even more qualified franchise operators to join our system.”

In MOOYAH’s headquarter market of Dallas/Fort Worth, the company has established a firm presence with nearly 25 locations. The brand plans to duplicate that level of market saturation in key areas such as San Antonio and Houston, while continuing to support existing Franchise Partners across Texas and beyond.

The Prosper location is owned by existing MOOYAH Franchise Partners, Kelly and Bobbi Osborne. The Osbornes have owned and operated a MOOYAH franchise location in McKinney, Texas for more than seven years, and decided to expand with a second location at the Shops at Prosper Trail, a retail development in a fast-growing area of the booming city of Prosper.

“We are excited to bring the MOOYAH experience to the Prosper community,” said Bobbi Osborne. “Between our high-quality menu and our second-to-none Guest service, we feel like we will be able to make a positive impact on every Guest that walks through the doorway of our new Prosper restaurant.”

The Prosper opening is another example of the brand’s commitment to growth throughout Texas as well as validation of the opportunity from those already invested in the system.

“Kelly and Bobbi continue to live our core values and are great representatives of the MOOYAH brand,” said Jordan Duran, director of franchise sales for MOOYAH. “We are looking for more Franchise Partners who understand the importance of Guest service and believe in the incredible product and experience we’ve created at MOOYAH.”
