Franchise Times: The Gents Place Touts Growth, Investment from Dallas Cowboys Owner

With help from current Dallas Cowboys owner and a former running back, the men’s grooming concept is building up momentum for quick growth.

Closing out its first full year of franchising, The Gents Place is growing quickly. According to a recent Franchise Times article, the men’s grooming concept closed out 11 franchise agreements and received an investment from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his company, Blue Star Innovation Partners in addition to the former Cowboys running back Emmit Smith signing on as co-owner last year with Ben Davis.

“Ben is a savvy entrepreneur who has aggressive plans to grow The Gents Place nationwide through the franchising model and we believe that given the right guidance and resources, he can achieve that goal,” said Jones.

With four corporate-owned locations in Dallas and Kansas City, and a new franchise location in Chicago, the brand is mostly expanding throughout Texas in Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Touting its development momentum, Davis is projecting the brand will have 150 locations in the next five years.
