Fast Casual: Brands Hope Valentine’s Day LTOs Will Help Attract Customers

Fast-casual restaurants hope to warm the hearts of many with BOGO and limited time offers.

Limited-service brands are hoping to compete with fine dining restaurants this Valentine’s Day by offering deals to customers. According to a recent Fast Casual article, there are a number of BOGOs and dessert offerings, while Firenza is taking the holiday to a new level by selling a $500 pizza.

The Golden Surf and Turf pie includes lobster, lobster bisque, filet medallions, caviar and to top it all off, is dusted with an edible gold leaf. "We went with this over-the-top pizza as we start showcasing Firenza as the premier fast-casual pizza choice," said Stacey Kane, who manages the brand’s marketing. "We thought it would be a fun way to really highlight the Firenza difference which is an obsession with quality ingredients and craft. It's all about the art of pizza."

While other brands might not be offering such extravagant offerings, they are keeping in mind the importance of coupledom for the holiday with BOGO deals where customers can get their other half something to enjoy. White Castle, Starbucks, Qdoba Mexican Eats, KFC, Dairy Queen* and Domino’s are all helping customers celebrate in store or at home with some deals lasting throughout the week.
