QSR Magazine: Cousins Subs and Milwaukee Bucks Team Up for Charity

The sandwich franchise and NBA team have made a donation of $22,150 and 4,092 pounds of food to Block Out Hunger.

Cousins Subs has teamed up with the Milwaukee Bucks to fight hunger in Wisconsin. According to QSR Magazine, this marks the third year that the brand and NBA team have partnered for the charitable Block Out Hunger campaign. This year, they’ve made a donation of $22,150 and 4,092 pounds of food, which will support food pantries across the state.

Justin McCoy, Cousins Subs’ vice president of marketing, said, “Hunger is an issue that every community faces and one that we can block out by coming together and supporting our neighbors in need. We are grateful for the good will of our partners the Milwaukee Bucks and Hunger Task Force and inspired by the compassion shown by all who joined us in the fight against hunger. Together, we will make it better for those in our local communities.”

Since the Block Out Campaign started in 2016, Cousins and the Milwaukee Bucks have raised a total of $51,815 for Hunger Task Force, with Cousins Subs locations in Wisconsin also collecting 14,441 pounds of food.
