NRN: Sonic Same-Store Sales Flat in Q3

The franchise released third-quarter financial results ahead of conference presentations

Sonic Corp. has released some details of its Q3 financial results ahead of two conference presentations scheduled for later in June.

According to an article on Nation’s Restaurant News, the full third-quarter earnings will be released later the market closes on June 26. The details that have already been released show same-store sales were flat in Q3 but up roughly two percent for the full 2018 fiscal year.

“Our third-quarter same-store sales reflect solid, sequential improvement, including a systemwide increase of approximately 2.5 percent during May," said Cliff Hudson, CEO of Sonic.”
