The Boston Business Journal: Sylvan Learning Targets Boston for Expansion
Sylvan is seeking franchise partners to open locations in Boston proper.
Sylvan Learning* is looking to expand its reach, with plans to add an additional eight brick-and-mortar locations and 24 satellite locations in the Greater Boston area by 2017.
In particular, Sylvan is eyeing Boston proper, Arlington, Wellesley, Malden, Acton, Framingham and Norwood for growth. Each of those territories could support up to three satellite locations.
“We have a number of available territories in the area that are really poised for development in terms of demographic and attention to education within the communities, said Georgia Chasen, the brand’s director of franchise development.
