WLTX- Columbia, South Carolina: How Parents Can Help Their Children Get Ready for Another School Year

Sylvan Learning* Director of Education and Enrollment Cynthia Hacker stopped by WLTX for two segments covering the tactics parents can use to help get kids get ready to go back to school. She shared tips such as helping them to look ahead at due dates, and the importance of getting organized through creating a study space at home.

Hacker also discussed some of the tools Sylvan Learning has that can help prepare students and make learning fun, such as the SylvanPlay app. She elaborated on the different learning styles that children have, and went over ways to best help them retain information and gain confidence in their studies. Hacker also went into detail about the programs offered at Sylvan Learning for children interested in a variety of different subjects.
