The Daily Courier: Right at Home Franchisees Expand Territory as Elderly Population Grows

The population in the state is expected to increase by about 80 percent between 2010 and 2050.

Right at Home* franchisees Mike and Karen Valenza recently expanded their territory in the Prescott, AZ area as the elderly population in the region continues to grow at a staggering rate.

According to the Daily Courier, the population in Arizona is expected to increase about 80 percent between the years 2010 and 2050. Because of the drastic increase already seen and the expected increase, there has been a shortage of in-home care takers for the elderly.

"For the most part, we're limited more by our caregivers than we are by our clients," Mike Valenza, who co-owns Prescott's Right at Home franchise with his wife, Karen.

William Ogden, right start manager with Right at Home says the trend is being recognized industry-wide.
