According to the National Center for Education Statistics, one out of every four students report being bullied during the school year. As National Bullying Prevention Month comes to a close, GYMGUYZ is launching a nationwide Confidence Campaign on November 1st to continue providing a year-round support system for children ages 5-18 who are victims of bullying.

The Confidence Campaign will involve the brand’s franchises nationwide partnering directly with elementary, middle, and high schools asking parents, teachers, and friends to nominate a deserving child in need of confidence boosting. One child will be selected to win three months of personal training on a weekly basis (once per week), while other nominated children will become eligible for a discounted group fitness class once per week.

“GYMGUYZ prides itself on being made up of a group of passionate and dedicated individuals who positively impact our clients’ lives for the better,” said GYMGUYZ Director of Marketing Rachele Genhofer. “We have asked that all of our franchisees participate in changing the outlook and lives of children in communities nationwide.”

GYMGUYZ brings state-of-the-art fitness technology, 365 pieces of equipment and expertise to the doors of its rapidly growing customer base ranging from ages 4 to 101. With a focus on highly personalized training programs, each partnership begins with a series of assessments evaluating clients’ body measurements and nutrition habits as well as their fitness and personal goals in order to determine the ideal course of action. GYMGUYZ trainers then structure customized workouts that will help each client meet their individual needs. Every 15 weeks, clients are reassessed to ensure that they’re exceeding all of their goals.

While the reach of bullying continues to grow, GYMGUYZ will create a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. Through the campaign, the brand hopes to cultivate an environment of empowerment that will inspire renewed confidence in children and provide a helpful step in the fight to end bullying in communities across the country.

“GYMGUYZ is all about family, and that means never-ending support,” said GYMGUYZ CEO and Founder Josh York. “Unfortunately, not everyone has this kind of support network in their lives. With many of us having our own children or having experienced bullying in our lives, we know how tough it can be to grow up and that is why we’re so proud to announce the launch of the Confidence Campaign.”

With a presence in 14 states serving 71 territories and a goal to cover 100 territories nationwide by end of 2016, GYMGUYZ has the potential to improve the lives of hundreds of children across the country by helping them grow stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.
