DFW.com: Slim Chickens to open Fort Worth location June 22

Flint Harris has been a Slim Chickens fan since the first time he tried the fast-casual franchise in Fayetteville while attending college. Now, he is bringing the better chicken concept to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with an opening in Keller on June 22.

In his interview with DFW.com, Harris explained how excited he is to be opening a franchise location in his community.

“Being from Fort Worth, I’ve got some familiarity with the area and the market,” Harris said. “I’m excited to get back down there. My father still lives down there.”

Harris knows the concept will fit in well in the market and stand out from the competition with its menu variety and southern charm. In fact, the North Texas market could eventually boast up to 30 locations.

Slim Chickens has about 20 locations nationwide, and plans to continue to grow.
