If waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes is too excruciatingly long for a pizza delivery, there’s good news on the horizon. It’s called “Project 3:10,” and it’s Domino’s attempt to cook a pizza in just three minutes.

In its ongoing plan to become the pizza chain of the future (remember when they launched a fleet of autonomous delivery robots?), Domino’s CEO Don Meij says that the next step is to focus on accelerating the cooking process with some sort of proprietary super oven they’ve been developing. He says the ultimate goal is to crank out three-minute pies—a notable improvement from the near-eternity cook time of seven minutes. So far, six Australian locations are using the special ovens.

Meij wouldn’t go into detail about the technology, but he explains that the thinking behind the new “smart” ovens is that it pushes convection and radiant heat onto the pizza at the “right point at the right time” as the pizza goes along the conveyor.

According to Bloomberg, Domino’s is also striving to get that three-minute pizza delivered in 10 minutes once it’s ready—which, of course, you’ll be able to order by Tweeting an emoji or simply opening an app (no tedious screen tapping required).

What a time to be alive.
