MOOYAH Raises 35K for No Kid Hungry MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes* partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry ® to raise $35,000 to combat childhood hunger. The promotion was a system-side partnership and the Dallas-based fast-casual chain offered booklets of coupons for free food and dessert with a $5 donation to No Kid Hungry from September 8 to October 5. (From Franchising.com) Taco Bell Goes Mobile Taco Bell has become the first quick-serve restaurant to launch a mobile ordering and payment app. It will be accepted in participating locations nationwide for both dine-in and drive-thru orders. It’s a free app available for iOS and Android users. (From QSR Magazine) Jamba Juice to Host Free Kids Smoothie Day This Halloween Jamba Juice will be serving free smoothies to kids.  Participating locations will be offering the free 9.5 oz. blended beverages from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Children ages 8 and younger are welcome to try the smoothies containing 2.5 servings of fruit and/or vegetables. (From Fastcasual.com) Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is Going International The gourmet chocolate store franchise, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc., is expanding its international franchising activities. The company will be expanding into the Republic of the Philippines with the signing of a new licensing agreement. The Durango, Colorado-based company currently operates 628 Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and self-serve frozen yogurt stores in 42 states, Canada, Japan, South Korea, The United Arab Emirates, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey.
