Home Clean Heroes* has come a long way since it opened its doors for business in April 2017.

The cleaning franchise, one of Virginia Beach, Virginia-based Buzz Franchise Brands, spent the greater part of 2018 perfecting its business model and enriching its franchise offering to set the brand up for significant franchise growth in 2019.

“With almost two years of service under our belts, we’ve been able to collect data to analyze what’s working, what’s not working, and what changes we need to make moving forward,” Home Clean Heroes Director of Marketing Kathy Turley said. “We're past the launch stage and have spent considerable time optimizing our business operations and efficiencies that will enable our franchisees to grow their business, with stronger margins to drive profitability.”

The brand values providing professional, quality services and building long-term relationships, and it wants to make sure it is always set up for maximum operational success. To that end, Home Clean Heroes added its eighth transit vehicle, doubling its fleet from a year ago, to support its growing customer base (where services are up 80% over this time last year) and remain operationally efficient. In addition to capturing more market share, the brand also received a great consumer-voted local accolade in 2018: Coastal Virginia Magazine Best of Readers’ Choice Award: Overall Gold, which demonstrates that the brand’s focus on customer experience is paying off.

“We have learned more about our core customer and how to focus on their needs to build and maintain a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship,” Turley said. “Our focus isn't on offering the lowest price for our service, but on providing the most professional and highest quality service in the category. By operating efficiently, we can do all of that at a reasonable, fair and still competitive price.”

This focus on efficiency has another major purpose: employee retention, which helps decrease hiring and training costs and keeps the focus on customer service.

“While we want to make sure our cleaners are being as efficient as possible for business reasons, while providing a high-quality clean, we also want to make sure they’re able to get home to their families by dinner time,” Turley said. “Being a considerate employer is what will help us stand out from other brands as an employer of choice. And with today’s job market, that is more important than ever. Our Heroes are the ones that work directly with our customers, and their job satisfaction is important to providing a top notch customer experience, so we pay careful attention to making sure their needs are being met.”

With these systems in place, Home Clean Heroes is prepared to help new franchisees hit the ground running.

“The benefit of being a Home Clean Heroes franchisee is that Buzz Franchise Brands has created several thriving franchise brands, so we have the resources, talent and institutional knowledge to build a model that is easy to follow and is proven to work,” Turley said. “We’ve worked very hard to make sure we have all of the right systems in place to set our future franchisees up for success from day one.”

Home Clean Heroes plans to sign its first franchisee in early 2019. The brand also wants to leverage the success of its first location into further franchise growth, specifically in markets such as Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and its home state of Virginia.

“Residential cleaning is a $6 billion industry, with relatively low operational costs, and our business model really reflects that,” said Turley. “We’re excited to expand the Home Clean Heroes franchise family and help qualified and motivated people go into business for themselves, but not by themselves.”
The startup costs for a Home Clean Heroes franchise range from $78,295 to $132,588. The franchise fee is $25,000. To learn more about franchising with Home Clean Heroes, visit https://homecleanheroesfranchise.com/.
