Chick-fil-A, the leading QSR concept that puts great customer service on the forefront, has implemented Kallpod
at a few of its Houston restaurants to allow customers to place an order once they have already been seated.
Before implementing the technology, the Houston-area restaurants were averaging $30 to $45 per day from guests ordering at the table. Now, with the technology implemented, the restaurant has seen an increase to a $200 to $350 per day average.
COO Steven Barrow Barlow mentioned the quick service chain is changing the way fast food thinks about service. "Most-quick service operators have built their service around the premise that the customer is in and out," he told Nation's Restaurant News.
