AC Hotel Tempe Downtown by Marriott General Manager elaborates on how Kallpod technology improves worker productivity

Worker productivity grew in the second quarter of 2018 by nearly three percent, according to new figures from the Labor Department, and a strong factor in the increased productivity has been the implementation of technology such as Kallpod.

The AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe Downtown by Marriott has used the technology to enhance worker performance, as was reported in a recent Wall Street Journal article.

“This technology queues up service requests, so we can operate more efficiently,” AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe Downtown by Marriott General Manager Patti Hunt told the Wall Street Journal.

The Kallpod technology is part of the AC Hotel by Marriott's brand standard, and in AC Hotel by Marriott in Tempe specifically, the technology can be found in areas including the front desk, conference rooms and the rooftop pool.

"In the hotel space there are so many areas where a customer might make a request for service, but it is not necessarily feasible for the hotel to keep these places staffed at all hours," said Weisz. "This is where the Kallpod technology comes in. It allows the customer to get an exceptional customer service experience, while the hotel is able to save on labor without needing to keep areas fully staffed."
