Paul Flick, CEO and founder of Premium Service Brands has over 20 years of leadership and management experience in the franchising industry and leads multiple home services franchise brands including Maid Right, a trusted house cleaning and maid service company.
What makes Maid Right unique in the cleaning services industry?

We provide ourselves with safer, healthier and greener products, which are all family-friendly, non-toxic and fully eco-friendly and biodegradable. Our service is reliable, and we ensure that through our Maid Right Tracker® program, which measures our results and holds our cleaners accountable. Additionally, we deliver a dirt-free, dust-free, germ-free clean to every room included in your home’s cleaning plan, and we are able to do so because of our dedication to attentive, personalized service. What do you think Premium Service Brands’ most important milestone over the past few years is?
Maid Right was founded in 2012 and has since grown to 21 units across the United States. In 2018, we acquired Maid Right under the Premium Service Brands portfolio and that same year, the brand secured a spot on Entrepreneur magazine’s annual Franchise 500 list. The brand signed on two new franchisees in 2019 with two openings and we expect to open an additional 12 new units this year, with a total of 18 in development nationwide.
What does your ideal franchisee look like?
The ideal Maid Right franchise owner is very engaged and hands-on in their business and in their local community. Our franchisees come from a variety of diverse backgrounds, from former CEOs to former manufacturing employees. Our most successful franchise owners are great communicators, which is a talent that we always look for when speaking with franchisee prospects. It’s important that our franchise owners are organized, have a strong work ethic and are eager to drive growth. We seek franchisees who share our commitment to customer service excellence and are passionate about their business.
How does the franchise support its franchisees?
The Maid Right team works one-on-one with our franchise owners from the first point of inquiry to opening day and throughout the life of the franchise. Our corporate team has a strong support program that encompasses franchisee and team member training, including our initial four-week training, two virtual training sessions and an in-person training session. Each franchises are assigned to a launch coach for 30 to 90 days until they are able to hit a certain revenue target, and our franchisees are also assigned to a business coach, who they work with on a regular basis in order to help scale their business. The business coach offers operational best practices, local and brand marketing, financial tools and so much more. Additionally, Maid Right has developed a robust technology support through our CRM management platform, so that franchise owners can track, manage and optimize their business-service-provider network across development, marketing and technology to improve franchisees’ results.
