Moe's Southwest Grill Tests Impossible Foods' Meatless Base For All Entrees

In an effort to offer more healthy, meat-free menu items, the brand is testing this alternative at a Manhattan location.

Moe’s Southwest Grill is making an effort to expand meatless options available at its restaurants. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand is currently testing out Impossible Foods’ meatless base as a substitute choice for all of its entrees. The test is occurring at a Manhattan location and the results will determine the timing for rolling this initiative out across the nation.

"We understand that each customer has different dietary needs and food preferences, so we wanted to make sure we were accommodating every person that walks through our doors. Impossible is the ideal partner for Moe's since they are a leader in plant-based protein options," said executive chef, Ciaran Duffy.

Additional vegetarian options include dishes made with organic tofu, black beans or pinto beans.
