Pittsburgh families are relying on Mosquito Joe to keep their backyards safe.

Zika concerns have Pittsburgh locals investing in the services Mosquito Joe has to offer.

“Zika won’t just go away. Once it comes to this country, just like the West Nile virus has come to this country, it’ll be here,” said CEO Kevin Wilson.

A mother in the area, Tricia Katyal, began using the service to guard her children from the disease-prone ticks in their yard. Now, she's glad she's protecting her family from mosquito-borne illnesses, too.

"When the news came out about Zika, we saw it as an added benefit,” said Katyal, a mother of four. “We were glad we had the service and thought we had good reason to continue.”
