Nation's Restaurant News: Barnes & Noble continues Kitchen openings

Barnes & Noble has opened its fourth full-service restaurant. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand launched its newest Barnes & Noble Kitchen location in Plano, Texas at the end of last week.

“This store is part of our ongoing effort to test new concept stores. We are still learning from all of the new stores that we have opened across the country, and we are excited about the knowledge we have gained in these markets," said CEO Demos Parneros.

The newest location seats 113 customers at a time and features electrical outlets as well as bookshelves where patrons are able to browse and buy on site. The store will house book signings and fairs and host various musical acts.

Other Barnes & Noble Kitchen locations can be found in Edina, Minnesota, Folsom, California and Scarsdale, New York.
