Nation’s Restaurant News: Dunkin’ Rolls Out Coffee Deal with Amtrak

Amtrak now has its very own hot beverage on board. According to a recent Nation’s Restaurant News article, Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. announced adding its Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend and Dunkin’ Decaf on all Amtrak Northeast Corridor trains, which will be the only hot coffee brand offered on board the routes served at café cars and in first class for approximately 12 million customers.

"Whether guests are traveling for business or leisure in the Northeast, they'll have Dunkin' Donuts hot coffee to keep them energized throughout the trip," says said Brian Gilbert, Dunkin’ Brands senior director of new business development.

Dunkin’ Brand’s does already have one travel-based partnership besides Amtrak. The company has partnered with air carrier JetBlue Airways for more than a decade.
