WEST HARTFORD, CT. — At long last, Oath Pizza’s first Connecticut restaurant is opening. On July 21, the Nantucket-born, better-for-you pizza franchise will cut the ribbon on its newest location in Blue Back Square, a high-traffic retail hub in West Hartford.

"Blue Back Square is the perfect home for our brand and business," said Drew Kellogg, CEO of Oath Pizza. “We're grateful to join the community and to serve West Hartford residents the elevated pizza and experience they deserve.”

Built primarily for carryout service, Oath Pizza’s Blue Black Square location boasts a streamlined 849-square-foot restaurant and will be owned and operated by the franchise’s corporate team.

The restaurant is the first to feature Oath Pizza’s new layout, designed in collaboration with McMahon Architects, the Boston-based firm responsible for the build-outs of popular brands like Tatte Bakery and Saloniki. The brand refresh is part of a recent business transformation led by former Chipotle executives Stacie Colburn Hayes — now Oath Pizza’s chief marketing officer — and Drew Kellogg, Oath’s president and CEO.

Showcasing its award-winning avocado oil crust and responsibly sourced toppings like fresh veggies and organic proteins, Oath Pizza has set itself apart in the pizza category by offering a genuinely feel-good experience that includes both the restaurant atmosphere and the menu offerings. The brand’s Blue Black Square location will introduce that experience to a new community of pizza lovers throughout Connecticut.

The cost to open an Oath Pizza franchise ranges from $380,000–$550,000, including a $30,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with Oath Pizza, visit oathpizza.com/franchise.
