Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station East Coast Subs, recently shared his industry insights with the business, entrepreneurship and thought leadership publication Kivo Daily in a piece entitled “When to Add a New Brand to Your Multi-Unit Franchise.”
The Penn Station president writes that a multi-unit operator will know the time is right to start looking for a new brand when their home market is full or they want to diversify their business. According to Dunaway, the benefits of being a multi-brand franchisee include retaining top talent as well as capitalizing on the opportunity to build on years of experience.
“Many franchise companies actively seek existing multi-unit operators, which can be a great way to grow a franchise system. For multi-unit operators, knowing when to add a new brand is as important to success as a multi-brand franchisee as choosing the right franchise,” writes Dunaway.
