Since its launch in 2016, Pool Scouts* has seen rapid success expanding outside of its home market in Virginia Beach. Within the last two years, the brand has opened 15 locations across nine states including Texas, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, South and North Carolina.

And while the brand’s biggest presence remains in the South, Pool Scouts appreciates the fact that the region has a mild winter climate, making this seasonal concept a lucrative year-round opportunity for franchisees and technicians looking to make this a full-time career.

With an experienced team of development leaders now in place, the brand is looking to ramp up its recruitment efforts in the South by looking for unique ways to attract candidates to its growing system in cities ripe for expansion.

Two of those cities, Atlanta and Charlotte, have been a priority focus for the pool maintenance and repair company since launch, with more than 74,000 residential pools in the Atlanta DMA alone and approximately 31,000 in the greater Charlotte area. To strengthen their commitment to these markets, Pool Scouts is hosting an informational webinar on Wednesday, September 19 beginning at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the business ownership opportunity, teach candidates more about the industry and to chat about what it takes to become a franchisee.

“This is a chance for someone who may have been interested in joining the Pool Scouts system to learn more about the superior franchise opportunity that we’re offering,” said Pool Scouts Director of Franchise Development Timothy Holadia.

“We offer a low-cost investment with a recurring revenue model, meaning our franchisees have the opportunity to get a return on their investment faster. Pool Scouts has seen success opening in other markets with a high number of residential pools per capita because there’s a growing demand for a service like ours. We’re excited to continue meeting those needs in a new marketplace.”

Recognizing that Charlotte and Atlanta are just two of the markets nationwide that are ripe for development, Pool Scouts is opening up the webinar to potential candidates across the country.

“This is a great time to become a Pool Scouts franchisee. The economy is continuing to improve and, as a result, people are investing more money into their homes. This not only includes minor repairs and upgrades but, in many cases, it also includes the addition of a pool,” said Pool Scouts President Michael Wagner. “Homeowners that invest this type of capital often don’t want to have to deal with the grunt work themselves, which is where we step in to help. We aim to become their go-to provider with the help of our professional and knowledgeable technicians.”
