QSR: Chick-fil-A’s New Website Will Also Close On Sundays

Chick-fil-A steps up their online presence with new website geared towards individual guests’ preferences

Chick-fil-A has upheld their tradition of closing every Sunday since 1946, and their new website reflects that, too. While the site isn’t technically ‘closed’ on Sundays, the posts published focus on storytelling and provide readers with more meaningful content, like at-home recipes to cook with family and friends, reports QSR.

On all accounts, Chick-fil-A has focused on making their new site much more intentional. Guests will have the ability to customize content based on their region, their favorite menu items, and so forth.

"From the beginning our team envisioned the new website as a digital extension of our restaurants where food and customer service are at the forefront of the experience. That's why the menu reflects what's being served in restaurants at the time of day the user hits the site, and why we incorporated rich textures and red accents recognizable from the architecture and design of our heritage locations," Ashley Callahan, digital communications and content strategy manager with Chick-fil-A, told QSR. "Our goal is to share stories and create meaningful moments with existing and potential customers."
