The brand believes everyone should have “the best the dog in the world.”
After 85 years, the Big Apple is ready to share its iconic hot dogs. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, Papaya King has teamed with a franchising industry powerhouse, Fransmart, to develop the brand throughout the country.
To start, Fransmart CEO Dan Rowe is setting a goal of 500 locations in North America. Then, the brand will look across the ocean for continued growth globally. All locations will be franchised in the US except in New York where the brand will continue on its path to growth corporately.
“Basically, we decided to start franchising because we want America to realize that we are the No. 1 frankfurter around and we have been around for a reason,” said Wayne Rosenbaum, president of Papaya King.
