In 2001, business partners Rick Nakashima and Ted Davenport opened up Hawaii’s first Ruby Tuesday restaurant. 16 years later, Davenport and Nakashima have opened up four more Ruby Tuesday locations in Hawaii, and each has proven a big hit in the Aloha state.
A number of Ruby Tuesday’s menu items feature island-inspired flavors, including their enormously popular Mango Kiawe ribs, and all of the Hawaii restaurants are decked out with local flair.
