The Post and Courier: Shared office space making inroads across South Carolina

Office Evolution is helping local entrepreneurs in Charleston, South Carolina grow their business by offering a less expensive way to lease space through coworking. Due to the growing demand, Office Evolution franchisee Andy Fry is looking to get his next area location up-and-running quickly.
 
“All of the projections call for co-working space to essentially triple over the next five to 10 years,” said Fry to the Post and Courier. “We’re aiming to be open by next summer."
 
The Post and Courier reported the niche industry has been expanding at an average annual rate of 23 percent since 2010. Flexible space will make up 30 percent of the market by 2030, the Chicago-based commercial real estate giant JLL predicted.
