Togo’s Recognized on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List for 2019

The fresh-made sandwich chain locks up the 235th spot on the coveted list.

Togo’s has been named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List, coming in at no. 239. Now in its 40th year, the Franchise 500 ranking evaluates brands across five key pillars: financial strength and stability, size and growth, brand strength, support, and costs and fees.

In 1971, Togo’s started out of a small sandwich shack in San Jose with the goal of providing exceptional made-to-order sandwiches crafted from fresh ingredients. The brand has become a West Coast original because of its high quality ingredients and one-on-one friendly service that sets them apart. While most of their franchises are based in California, Togo’s is expanding throughout the West with close to 300 locations open or under development. The current initial investment for a Togo’s location is $274,000 to $508,700, with a franchise fee of $30,000.
