There is a very good reason that taxes are due on April 18th, not April 15th this year. That’s because tax deadlines are pushed back a business day if April 15th falls on a weekend, a federal holiday, or a holiday celebrated in Washington, D.C.

And April 15th this year is Emancipation Day in our nation’s capital. It’s usually celebrated on April 16th, but since it falls on a Saturday, it’s being observed on April 15th, the usual day for filing taxes. If you live in Maine or Massachusetts you get an additional extension to April 19th because April 18th is Patriot’s Day, which commemorates the first battles of the Revolutionary War at Lexington and Concord.

This means most Americans have a few extra days to file their 2015 tax returns. On the 18th this year, many franchise brands will take time to mark this day with special discounts give-aways and promotions to ease the pain associated with this most “infamous” of holidays.

Here are 11 Tax Day Deals you can enjoy on Monday the 18th.
