Several states will increase minimum wages in 2019, according to a Fox Business report.

Citing information from the Employment Policies Institute, the article noted that 20 states will see minimum wages increase, and within some of those states, individual localities will also raise their minimum wages.

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida and New York are among the 20 states, according to the article.

The actual raises will vary among the different states. Florida’s minimum wage, for example, will increase from $8.25 to $8.46, while Arkansas’ minimum wage will increase from $8.50 to $9.25, according to the article.
