7-Eleven pushes out Zero Franchising Fee Initiative
Convenient store giant is waiving what could be a total of $80,000 in franchise fees for 200 locations.
7-Eleven is offering franchise agreements for 200 locations across the U.S. with a waived franchise fee, which could save franchisees around $80,000 in payment.
This initiative runs through June 30 and still requires potential business owners to cover licensing costs, permits and an initial down payment on inventory –which totals around $30,000.
"These locations offer would-be entrepreneurs a chance to go into business for themselves without the expense of the one-time franchise fee," said Greg Franks, vice president of franchising systems. "With the Zero Franchise Fee Initiative, we opted to waive the fee on these specific stores to allow the new owner a chance to build his or her customer base and business, while backed by our proprietary systems, processes and ongoing support."
