810 Billiards & Bowling, the 6-unit bar, dining and entertainment franchise, has made a name for itself in the franchise world by offering a unique model that combines high quality food with numerous entertainment options. Now, the brand is leveraging that model for widespread franchise expansion throughout New Jersey. 810 Billiards & Bowling has signed a new franchise agreement just across the state border from Philadelphia, and it is looking to capitalize on additional high-demand areas within the Garden State.

Mike Siniscalchi, the president of 810 Billiards & Bowling, said the idea for the brand was generated out of the need for similar service in underserved markets.

“I felt that establishments like 810 Billiards & Bowling only existed in big cities or metropolitan areas, and there was  perhaps a greater demand for these services in suburban areas,” he said. “We’ve seen success in both as our brand continues to grow, but we’re eager to see how quickly our brand can take off in New Jersey where there are suburbs up and down the state.”

The brand has officially signed its first franchisee in New Jersey, and the brand’s real estate team has immediately begun the site selection process. The anticipated new franchise unit of 810 Billiards & Bowling will help the brand develop more localized demand in a market with premier growth potential.

810 Billiards & Bowling has integrated the key elements of restaurant and bar design and combined them with bowling, pool, cornhole, darts and a wide range of other games that are carefully curated for the needs of each individual location. This allows franchisees to have key input when developing their respective locations and tailor them to the exact specifications and needs of a particular market.

This adaptability, paired with the high demand for related services in New Jersey, is where Siniscalchi said the brand can effectively market itself to prospective franchisees.

“Our brand is based around people having a fantastic time with every second they spend with us,” he said. “Once we show some ambitious franchisees the impact they can make and the input they can have on their desired market, we are confident that our plans for growth will be able to capitalize on this spirit of enjoyment.”

The brand has maintained a commitment to quality ingredients in every corner of its robust menu, featuring craft beers, gastropub-style hamburgers and salads, hand-crafted pizzas, a wealth of appetizer options and more. Guests can take their tab with them and not be confined to a single table, allowing them to soak up all of 810’s amenities.

810 Billiards and Bowling uses proprietary equipment, which ensures each new unit fits specified brand guidelines. This model has helped generate a competitive investment figure for prospective franchisees, which is something the brand is currently leveraging in areas like New Jersey where expansion is targeted.

The brand is quickly showing how a heavy franchising presence in New Jersey can generate continued success — and meet a high demand in a highly-populated area. Siniscalchi highlighted how 810’s supply chain allows franchisees to establish a unit in virtually any market, but a concentration of multiple units in a similar area can help brands develop themselves with greater word of mouth and more effective client retention.

“We’ve got a chance to truly become a household name if we’re able to bring multiple units to a designated area,” Siniscalchi added. Each new franchisee receives 15 miles of geographic protection, helping to protect the assets of each individual unit.

As the 810 Billiards & Bowling model continues to grow, the brand has a goal for ten or more franchises opened per year through 2024. “Our plans for growth are ambitious,” Siniscalchi said, “but they are directly related to our revenue margins and our commitment to sustainable growth.”
