Phoenix Business Journal: Multipurpose Bowling and Entertainment Venue 810 Billiards & Bowling Opens First Location in East Valley

810 Billiards & Bowling has expanded outside of its home market in South Carolina with the opening of Arizona’s first location in June 2021.

In an interview with the Phoenix Business Journal, owner of 810 Billiards & Bowling Chandler location, Poonam Manek, discusses the upcoming opening and expansion of the brand to Arizona. The opening of 810 Billiards & Bowling, a classic bowling alley with an upscale twist, in Chandler marks the first time the brand has opened outside of its home market in South Carolina. Manek and her husband, Ronak, are no strangers to business, having owned four pharmacies in the Chicago area before moving to Phoenix in 2020. They are the brand’s first franchisees. Manek officially welcomed customers to the 21,000-square-foot venue on June 26th, 2020 located at 3455 West Frye Road.

During the interview, Manek said she saw a “void of family entertainment space” and that is what prompted her to open a 810 Billiards & Bowling, which offers bowling, billiards, darts, shuffleboard, board games, a full-service restaurant and sports bar. “We’re really catering to everyone,” she said. “Our punchline is, 'Whatever is up your alley.’”

810 Billiards & Bowling plans to open a second, corporate-owned location in downtown Phoenix later this summer. The initial investment to franchise with 810 Billiards & Bowling ranges from $1.8 million to $3 million, including a $50,000 franchise fee. Franchisees will find a high margin of revenue streams through the games, early positive cash flow, and long-term security. For more information please visit 810bowling.com/franchising.
