Authority Brands Acquires Mosquito Squad Franchise

Mosquito Squad, a 200-unit mosquito and tick control franchise, has been acquired by Authority Brands, LLC, according to a recent release. The franchise was previously owned by Outdoor Living Brands, which acquired Mosquito Squad in 2009.

With the addition of Mosquito Squad to its franchise portfolio, Maryland-based Authority Brands is now parent company to four home service brands. The three other franchises the company owns are The Cleaning Authority, Homewatch CareGivers and America's Swimming Pool Company. The acquisition increases Authority Brands’ footprint to more than 750 franchise locations in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Kenya, Indonesia and Puerto Rico.
