BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Centers, the 25-location, holistic, non-medical weight loss and stress-management franchise, has seen brisk growth during Q1 of 2021, thanks in part to a major development deal signed in San Antonio and growing interest in the brand’s novel approach to the two biggest problems facing mature women: stubborn weight gain and menopausal symptoms.

According to the brand’s CEO, David Cutillo, this rapid growth is owed to a perfect storm of factors that makes now the best time to invest in a BeBalanced franchise.

“I am excited about the momentum of interest and inquiries into owning a BeBalanced,” said Cutillo. “I think one of the main reasons we’re seeing such interest right now is that people are coming out of the pandemic era, where everything stopped, and now a lot of decisions are being made. People are interested in getting into business, and the world wants to lose weight right now. After the pandemic, people are more purpose-driven, and they really want to appreciate what matters in life. BeBalanced gives them a chance to help others with stress and help women feel great about themselves.”

Dana Hernandez-Villareal, an audiologist who just signed on to open three new BeBalanced centers in the San Antonio area, echoed Cutillo’s comments. For her and her husband, Scott, BeBalanced isn’t just a great way to make money and secure their future, but a way to do something they really believe in.

“When I started looking at different opportunities for us to explore, I knew I wanted a franchise that was based on solid science and wellness,” she said. “That’s when BeBalanced came to my attention. BeBalanced offers holistic, natural solutions that are backed up with science and research. The service BeBalanced offers meets a need in the market and provides something that people will be able to utilize to be their best self.”

How BeBalanced Turns Satisfied Customers Into Franchisees

Like all of BeBalanced’s franchisees thus far, Hernandez-Villareal first learned of the brand as a customer. Her weight loss and stress reduction journey so deeply impacted her and improved her life that she set out on a mission to spread that joy with others in her community.

“I am on the program as well and think it’s great. Trying to provide this service to the community without trying it myself would have been null and void, but BeBalanced is a brand I truly believe in,” she said.

But Hernandez-Villareal still had to do her due diligence. When considering franchising with the brand, she spoke to multiple franchisees to determine if the business opportunity was really all it seemed to be. The response was overwhelming, and she’s now excited to open her stores and work among a community that shares her passions.

“Another big factor was that I felt BeBalanced was made up of a network of like-minded individuals who are striving for not only their own personal success and growth but the success of everyone associated with the brand,” she said. “With other brands, I felt as if everyone was out for themselves, and that’s not something I wanted to buy into. I spoke with BeBalanced owners, and they only had positive things to say. The franchisees were extremely helpful and instrumental in our decision to buy into BeBalanced. The results their clients saw speak to the effectiveness of this brand.”

According to Cutillo, her experiences are remarkable but not unique.

“And awareness is key,” he said. “What we’re finding is that women are not sitting at their kitchen table saying: ‘What’s the one business that helps with stubborn weight gain at my age, and menopause symptoms, too?’ But once people learn about us in a market, then bar the door.”

Where BeBalanced Will Grow Next

BeBalanced’s new growth in Texas comes as the brand begins to sweep the nation and become a household name.

“We have a developer, James Webb, who will open three to four more centers in Dallas in the coming months, then drop four to five more locations in Austin all at one time later in the year going into 2022. We’ve learned that nothing creates brand awareness like a center. Otherwise, we’re looking to grow in the Northeast and have plans to open in Connecticut,” said Cutillo. “Overall, our goal is to award 20 to 25 franchise locations this year.”

With awareness spreading and territories quickly closing, now is the time to develop a BeBalanced center in your community.
