Best in Class Education Center, a top-of-the-line education enrichment program that focuses on math and English, is proud to announce its first-ever multi-unit franchisees: husband and wife team Tanmoy Kumar and Veronica Reyna. The duo plans to open four education centers in the Northwest Houston region.

“[Kumar and Reyna] are both incredibly passionate about education, making them an ideal fit for Best in Class,” said Hao Lam, Founder and CEO of Best in Class. “Their dedication to not just the learning process, but to community outreach, is commendable. We can’t wait to help them celebrate all the academic accomplishments their students will experience in the future.”

Born and raised in India, Kumar currently works in the power industry in addition to being an adjunct professor. Meanwhile, Reyna is also a professor at a local college.

“We both have backgrounds in education, and we knew that was something we wanted to pursue as a business opportunity,” Reyna said. “It was very important to us that our work would also benefit the local community, and Best in Class was a natural fit.”

The couple said they were drawn to the brand in part thanks to its specialized curriculum, as well as the fact that it caters to students from pre-kindergarten through high school.

“I really enjoy the entire Best in Class team – the commitment and passion,” said Kumar. “I also believe that as the world becomes more knowledge-based, an early start in education will be vital to a child’s future success.”

Lam’s vision for Best in Class is to provide the best education possible – and the brand’s expansion in Texas is reflective of its recognizable achievements in the classroom. Tailored curriculum emphasizes cognitive understanding, allowing students to take the information and continue utilizing skills well into the future. This attention to detail has helped Best in Class position itself as the industry’s leading provider of complementary education to elementary, middle and high school students.

The brand continues to grow and develop successfully in both new and existing markets thanks to the recognizable achievements students have experienced at its centers. Best in Class currently has 30 centers open in California, Maryland, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Nevada. The premier option in supplemental education is currently looking to expand in Texas and California, as well as the tri-state area of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
