In order for Bo Jackson to achieve his star status as a professional football and baseball player &mdash; and now entrepreneur &mdash; he had to hustle. Being known as the best of the best isn&rsquo;t something that can happen without putting in effort. However, that need to grind and work hard is something that isn&rsquo;t necessarily as urgent for the youngest generation of American workers.

In the fourth part of Jackson&rsquo;s exclusive 10-part interview series with 1851 Franchise, Jackson said, &ldquo;For some odd reason, this generation thinks that, &lsquo;Well, I&rsquo;m gonna go to high school, I&rsquo;m gonna go to college, have four fun years, I&rsquo;m gonna get out, where I&rsquo;m gonna get a get a big job sitting behind a desk, and wear a suit in an air-conditioned office and do nothing. And I&rsquo;m gonna make a boatload of money.&rsquo; It&rsquo;s not gonna happen.&rdquo;

For those who are willing to put in the work, Jackson has a piece of advice. He added, &ldquo;The thing that I say, especially to young people, is don&rsquo;t take your education for granted. Let your brain become a sponge and absorb as much as you can because you&rsquo;re going to need it down the road.&rdquo;
