Chicken Salad Chick Arrives in the Midwest
One of Alabama’s fast-casual favorites will expand north in 2019.
Fast-casual restaurant Chicken Salad Chick expects to open new franchise locations in Illinois and Ohio in 2019, according to an article in the Birmingham section of The Business Journals.
Guests at Chicken Salad Chick start by choosing one of numerous chicken salad recipes, then build a meal with either a sandwich or salad base. Additional offerings include soup, sides and dessert.
The article reports locations are scheduled to open in Columbus, Ohio and Mason, Ohio, as well as Edwardsville and O’Fallon, Illinois. Subsequent locations are anticipated for “Chesterfield and Creve Ceour, Missouri; Jeffersonville, Indiana; Alexandria, Ruston and Bossier City, Louisiana; and Houston and College Station, Texas,” the article reports.
“Our development plans for Ohio and Illinois showcase our commitment to grow beyond the Southeast, and with additional deals in the pipeline, we’re positioned for continued success in 2019,” said Scott Deviney, CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, according to the article.
