CNBC: Most Small-Business Owners Are Optimistic About Trump and Repealing and Replacing Obamacare

It’s three days away from Trump’s inauguration, and impactful changes are already underway.

A poll released from small-business online resource Mantra in early January shows that a majority of small-business owners are optimistic about Trump taking office, with just over half of those surveyed having voted for him in the election. Even though Trump won’t move into the White House until this Friday, steps to repeal the Affordable Care Act have already begun. This, says small-business owners, is good news.

According to the survey, nearly seven out of ten small-business owners think Trump will positively impact their business, believing that Trump will stick to his campaign promises of deregulation and tax reform. Two thirds of those surveyed wanted to see the Affordable Care Act replaced. However, not all business owners are happy to see Obamacare go, with some claiming their businesses potentially wouldn’t exist without it.
